Twitter killed the blogging star.

Yes, I know, I've been a blogging slacker. The Twitter bug bit me harder, and before it was cool--I can say I beat Oprah to it. In the absence of big long posts--not really that many to make lately (shocking!)--it fits better. I'm @WmLeverette there.

I could make a list of endorsements on Twitter, but I'll simply link you to my following page instead because I endorse the people I follow (and to list out why I follow each of 85 people is a bit of a task when I've got other tasks to accomplish). If I didn't like reading their tweets, I would quit following them. Marvelous, isn't it?

To whoever nicked my front license plate:

Up yours.

A slight revelation:

Me: finally updated his blog header. Only took what, five months?
Michelle: has your blog been anything more than a pic blog since five months ago?
Me: More or less; it's what I can compose with relative ease lately. I've also had a recent lack of bloggable material.
Michelle: faillllure.
Me: What, do you want a blog of "Got up. Went to work. Took pictures of Pontiac G6s all day. Came home. Slept." five days a week?

(In all fairness, I didn't shoot a single G6 on Friday. Then again, we do have a lot of Buicks all of a sudden.)

Meditations on driving an Escalade

Mechanically, the Escalade ESV isn't all that different from our Yukon
XL. And yet I seem twice as paranoid about dinging it up. Regardless,
this one is a quantum leap better than the last one I drove (a 2002
with plenty of miles and aftermarket 20s). And I'm pleasantly
surprised at the differentiation from the Denali trim we offer.
Blingwagon indeed.

Odometric Flush

The CR-V hit a milestone on the way to breakfast: 123,456 miles. I
guess the next feat is to roll over the odometer.

(Note: This was back on the sixth. Why it didn't get posted to the blog, I don't know.)

Welcome to Circuit City.

They're already marking things down. 10% off non-sale stuff and
dropping. Heck, even their DSLRs are about competitive with Amazon.

Wow.

Wow., originally uploaded by billfredindustriesdotcom.

I do believe that's a funnel cloud--sure felt like one with the wind
walking up from cleanup. If this doesn't bring new meaning to the
saying around here that any day you're on this side of Garners Ferry
Road is a good day, I don't know what does.

Story of my life.

Two orbit balls trapped behind the column at Walmart. As if getting
these things wasn't hard enough already.

...in with the new.

We all got new dealer tags today. I swear they look fake. (I put a
frame on mine because there was one at my desk. And because I was
tired of dinging up the corners.)

Out with the old...
